At the weekend, the foundation for the first turbine was successfully laid on the sea bed at a depth of around 15 meters. The foundations for the total of 25 turbines should be completed within the next three months. For each of the turbines, a 40 metre-long cylindrical steel tube with a diameter of almost five metres will be driven around 25 meters into the sea bed from a specially designed vessel.
