MINNEAPOLIS (May 2, 2008) -- Residential Capital, LLC ("ResCap") today announced that it intends to commence offers to exchange any and all of the U.S. dollar equivalent $12.8 billion outstanding notes of ResCap listed in the table below for newly issued notes (the "new notes"), upon the terms and subject to the conditions to be set forth in an offering memorandum and consent solicitation statement (the "offering memorandum"), and a related letter of transmittal and consent (the "exchange offers").
