The report notes that the market share for insurers with a Qu ébec charter (personal insurance and damage insurance ) was up slightly from 48.3% in 2006 to 48.7% in 2007. With respect to personal insurance, the market share for insurers with a Québec charter nudged up from 48.7% in 2006 to 48.9% in 2007. This positive growth is reflected in accident and health insurance and life insurance, whose respective market shares inched up from 55.6% to 56.4% and 38% to 38.3%.
