The multi-pronged initiative will span two years and include on-air programming, outdoor events and a fully interactive website featuring Ruby Wax and Kathy Sykes (BBC Two's Alternative Therapies) as regular contributors and advisors. Created and co-ordinated by BBC Learning, Headroom will be the focal point for a wide range of BBC activity and events. Executive producer Nina Bell said: "The aim is to actively encourage people to assess their mental wellbeing and take simple, practical steps to manage or improve it.
