First Data Appoints CFO

... DENVER, June 10, 2008 - Today, First Data appointed Phil Wall, 50, as executive vice president and chief financial officer (CFO). Previously, Wall served as senior vice president of finance for First Data's international operations. He succeeds Kim Patmore, who has served as First Data's CFO since February 2000. Patmore will stay on through a brief transition period. "Phil's experience in leading First Data's international finance operations, coupled with his extensive financial services industry knowledge, will make his transition to CFO seamless and transparent," said Michael Capellas, chairman and chief executive officer of First Data.
