To comply with the European VOC (volatile organic compound) directives, refinishing products must have a much lower solvent content than was previously the case. There are no exceptions to this stringent legislation, not even for special paints. And at the Paris Tuning Show R-M, BASF Coatings’ paint brand, showed that this was no problem, making a splash with CARIZZMA, its VOC-compliant paint system for car tuning. CARIZZMA is both VOC compliant and environmentally friendly, since it's based on the ONYX HD waterborne basecoat system. At the Paris show, the R-M team presented four Audi TTs.
