FALLS CHURCH, Va. and HOPKINTON, Mass., June 4 - CSC (NYSE: CSC) and EMC Corporation (NYSE: EMC) today announced that they intend to collaborate on delivering new offerings around large-scale information infrastructures and next-generation data center operations to help their joint customers get more value for their business information. The two companies aim to combine systems engineering, design and client solution-development expertise to manage global, information-based IT infrastructures that lower clients’ total operating costs while increasing availability, scalability and security of their data center systems.
