(THOUSAND OAKS, Calif. - Aug. 25, 2008) Two public events will be held in conjunction with a California Lutheran University program that has all incoming freshman reading and discussing the same book.As part of CLU's Freshman Year Experience program, a semester-long program designed to help students socially and academically with the transition to college, the 500 incoming students each received a copy of "When the Emperor Was Divine" by Julie Otsuka this summer.
